In Guldborgsund ZOO and Botanical Garden we have a comprehensive selection of animal species. From lemurs to iguanas, and from snakes and penguins to reindeers. The aim is to show a wide selection of different animal species in their natural environments. Furthermore there shall be the possibility to experience the fascinating ways of the animal to survive.

In the last years most of the animal facilities of the garden have been renovated, and quite new facilities have been built. In the new and newly renovated facilities we have first and foremost made a point of three conditions: The possibility of the animals to display their natural behavior, the possibilities of the guests to come quite close to the animals and the working environment of the keepers. The renovation of the facilities is a ongoing project, and we keep working on garden, so it will present nicely for the custormer and our animals

Guldborgsund ZOO and Botanical Garden has today about 1000 registered plant species which represent about 150 plant families. In the last couple of years the garden has got about 300 plants in the plant collection.
